How to pay on Ebay? Mauritius

----------------------------------------------------------
Paying on Ebay

How you pay for an item depends partly on what payment methods your seller accepts. Read the item description before you bid to find out what payment options you have. Most sellers accept PayPal because it transfers funds immediately and they can ship your item right away instead of waiting for funds to clear.
The fastest way to pay on eBay is by clicking the Pay Now button, which allows you to use PayPal, ProPay, Moneybookers, or Paymate.
When you're choosing a payment method, look for options that are convenient for you, secure, and traceable, just in case there's a problem. Use this table to compare payment methods.

Offers these advantages…
PayPal

  • If you use a credit card, sellers don't see your card number. It's safely encrypted through PayPal's server to help minimize any risk of unauthorized use.
  • On eligible transactions you're covered by PayPal Buyer Protection for up to the full purchase price of your item, plus original shipping charges.

Pay upon pickup
Along with other allowed payment methods, sellers can also offer this option.
  • You have an opportunity to inspect items in person at the time of payment.
  • You can coordinate pickup location and time with the seller at a time and place that's convenient for you both. (Be sure to document your payment and proof of delivery.)
  • You don't have to pay shipping costs, although some sellers have a surcharge for in-person pickup.
  • You can choose any payment method specified in the listing by the seller, including checks, money orders, cash, PayPal, or credit card. Buyer protection varies by payment method.
Escrow
This is recommended for eBay Motors vehicle listings. Learn more about using escrow.
  • Payment is held by the escrow service until you receive and approve the item.
Note: There have been reports of fraudulent sellers using nonexistent escrow companies. Only use Escrow.com for your eBay Motors vehicle purchases.
Other payment methods
Checks, money orders, and bank wire transfers aren't allowed for most eBay purchases.
But sellers can offer these payment methods for certain items in some categories, including Motors, Capital and Business Equipment, Real Estate, and Adult Only.
.
  • Checks and money orders are traceable to a particular mailing address and provide proof of payment. (While fraud is rare, money is very difficult to recover when it occurs.)
  • If you run into a problem before the check is cashed, most banks offer a stop-payment service. Some money order services may also offer this service.
  • For bank transfers, payment is deposited immediately into the seller's account.
Note: Remember that if you pay by check, your seller will wait for the funds to clear before shipping your item.
Important: Sellers can't require you to pay using payment methods that aren't allowed on eBay. If your seller wants to change payment methods after the listing has ended, you can insist on paying with one of the methods specified in the seller's original listing. For more about safe payment methods, see theaccepted payments policy.

You must have a credit card like mastercard or visa to pay on Ebay using Paypal.
Many sellers{99% in my opinion} accept Paypal Payment only!
