A German national, aged 44 had a terrible end last night. He was killed in a car accident, which occurred in Grand Bay. He was driving a motorcycle with his wife when he collided with another motorcycle that was flying a resident of Goodlands. The latter as well as the wife of the German were seriously injured. They were admitted to hospital in the North. The road has also proved deadly to the flora. A farmer in the region, aged 34, was hit by a bus while riding the CNT bike yesterday morning. He died at the hospital in Rose-Belle. Another accident: a pedestrian was knocked last night at the Sivananda Avenue, in Vacoas.Seriously wounded, he was taken to Victoria Hospital where his condition is considered serious.
